44TE is a private airport community in Kingsland, Texas founded in 1950s by the Shirley Williams family. The Airstrip is located near the homestead ranch house that is still standing today. All three of Shirley's sons, Drace, Francis and Roy all became pilots and enjoyed their flying experiences. Roy enjoyed airport life and was involved in all airport activities and fly ins at 44TE. Before Ellen Williams passing Roy was instrumental in the formation of the River Valley Ranch Airstrip Association where Ellen and Roy made sure the airport and lakeside park would survive for the enjoyment of generations to come.

Snooker lived to at least 24 years.

The old ranch house at Shirley Williams' Colorado River ranch, later renovated as a family gathering place on the scenic property near the lake.

The River Valley Ranch Airstrip Association (RVRAA) was founded in 1990s by a group of pilots as a non profit to promote airport and pilot associated activities.
